On October 17, 2016, the Hong Kong Airport Authority (AA) announced the development plan for "SKYCITY Aerospace City".
The "SKYCITY Aerospace City" development project is located in the north of the airport island, covering an area of about 25 hectares, combining shopping malls, entertainment facilities, dining venues, hotels and office buildings.
